Supply Chain Design Manager

Full Time

Our client is one of the global  logistics companies, in the context of the firm’s growth plans we are looking for an “Supply Chain Design Manager “.


Degree in/focus on Supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and/or mathematics – desirable
Ideally at least 5 years varied experience in a logistics or solution design role
An excellent degree of computer literacy in regards to Excel & other MS office programs
Working knowledge of Transport network design tools (Desirable)
Good communication & presentation skills
Project management & facilitation skills (workshops, voice of the customer)
Experience with cross border (European) supply chains (Desirable not essential)
Commercial awareness and understanding of key cost drivers within the supply chain environment
Job Description:


To conduct analysis and validation of large amount of data sets and provide supply chain improvement projects
To prepare and deliver customers proposals and presentations in a consultative environment
To maintain awareness of developments, techniques and best practices within company, other business units and the wider marketplace
Wider solutions design teams (sectors / country based / business units / GCS) for approach, tools, knowledge sharing and joint project work
To cross-fertilize know-how of supply chain concepts between sectors, and focus on specific 4PL expertise
Client teams – in the translation, validation and communication of their requirements into innovative and competitive supply chain solutions
To design Industry Leading, cost effective & innovative supply chain solutions to meet customer requirement
To support expected substantial profitable growth of the business
Provision of solutions analytical support for implementation
Identify, gather & analyze information & data to understand key drivers for integrated logistics design
To develop supply chain process mapping and re-engineering according to customer needs
Able to assess existing operations & processes  and identify areas for improvement
